I found this very similar to, but not quite as compelling as, Milk and Honey. I really only enjoyed the parts about her mother specifically and immigration in general. The rest felt like a repeat of what she'd already done.

As always, another touching book of poetry.
Of course, I can't relate to all of them, but many of these poems always touch me deeply. Reading Rupi Kaur's poetry is always something I savor. It always leaves me feeling a bit raw, a bit exposed, but in the best way possible.

Rupi’s writing is like much poetry...just words when you don’t need the message, and profoundly enlightening when you do.
