This is Rupi's take on her mom's experience as an immigrant. Really impacted me because as someone who's second language is English I really felt like I could relate to the pages on that book. I think its the book I've related to most in my life so there's that.

I liked it, but all the poems felt the same. There wasn't much variation, but the poems themselves were very good.

What a beautiful feminist poetry collection. I loved every moment of it, and I'll just say that I've rarely highlighted and annotated this much in a book before. Simply stunning, super empowering, and truly amazing. I can't wait to own 'Milk and Honey' and read more of Rupi Kaur's poems.
