ok the book is not perfect but im pleasantly surprised by it.

-the fl has sm hardships in her life but despite that shes so strong for her little sister. she’s pretty badass and i actually really liked her
-I loved her relationship with her especially.
-she also doesnt take crap from anyone(for the most part and I also understand why she did the other times ).
- she and the ml had pretty good chemistry as well
- the ml is not perfect but hes not as bad as other characters i’ve seen from bully romances, pretty likable
- im not excusing what the ml does but I think if it were my parents id be pretty bitter too i think
- i like the dual pov
- and i like that there was a whole mystery aspect to this

overall pretty enjoyable read

2nd reread

mannn west is so annoying lol why is he so judgy towards parker. like ik shes a bitch but its just nah. hes a total dick. and he almost kills blue twice and he doesnt even feel guilty in his pov

also just noticed this but blue tells him she doesnt know his dad(tho indirectly, it was clearly understandable) and he just ignores it, he didn’t even question his lying cheating dad’s words

but still enjoyable ig

Girl from wrong side of Tracks

West has it out for Blue right from the get go. All on a misunderstanding that he found in his father's safe. He makes her already hellish life even worse. How much can one person take before they completely break down. I guess we'll see in book two.

Collective review on the first three Kings of Cypress Prep books. I came to this series because of a tiktok that set the scenario for "when she has an allergic reaction at a party and he's the only one that noticed"

This is a bully romance in which there is an actual reason for the guy to be bullying her, even though it's based off a huge misunderstanding (which is caused by lying, not miscommunication). And as far as bully romances go, Blue is my favorite female lead in one. When she has internal thoughts of wanting to be left alone and stay out of trouble, she actually follows through with that. She actively attempts to stay out of trouble and avoid the bullies. When she retaliates, it's totally justified.

Pandora was the highlight of the books and it was interesting to see an unknown character move the plot along.

Also you'd think these books would be full of smut but it's sprinkled throughout at the right moments. The plot is as highlighted as the romance.

I would recommend this trilogy as a way to kill time. It didn't blow my mind, but I was entertained.

This book was a nice read, but also a very slow one

At first, we had West, the character was built like a cunning king of the school, while is also naive, believing in that history so I felt the story contradictory and boring. I kind of wanted a bad boy and received a lost puppy I couldn't connect with him, and I couldn't buy the plot.

I would like this book more if I was prepared for this reading, It was like I order ice cream with toppings and receive them plain.

I picked this one as a dark read, although I struggled to find the dark elements. Also, the steamies scenes, we don't have many, are very meh and if you’re looking for NA/Dark Bully Romance you’re going to get frustrated with this one.

P.S. I DNF this book at first, but then I decided to finish and it took me more than 2 months to do it.

Omg omg omg omg omg omg omg i can't breathe... that cliffhanger...

This is the BEST hs bully/enemies-to-lovers I have EVER read!!!
Even the B- and C-plot is amazing! That isn't often....

The book's kinda pg-rated, but it's a slowburn and it does pick up a little after a while.

My girl Blue can get through this ✊️
