This book is really just setting the scene for what is to come from these characters. West is on the Cypress Prep football team as QB 1, he’s a fuckboy, and runs the school. Blue is from the south side, on scholarship to CPA, got kicked out of her old school for fighting, and takes care of her 14yo sister in top of everything else.

I've read a few bully romances and Blue is by far my favorite protagonist. She's so smart, not naive at all, and she is willing and able to fight back, with out being rash and stupid. I love that in this story the stupid one is the guy and not the girl, West is so stupid some times and it makes me want to punch him. I am also very curious about this weird underlying mystery we keep getting little tidbits about, it has me very intrigued for the nest book.
"Don't provoke me, Southside," he growls. "You haven’t seen me off my leash yet."
Blue has received a full ride to Cypress Prep High School and is told that she must meet every criteria laid in front of her or lose out. If that is not hard enough, she is already on The Golden Boys' target list before even stepping foot through the doors. West is certain that Blue is the reason for his anger and vows to make her life horrible. The only problem is that the more he is around her, the more his true colours towards her begin to show.
West and Blue have so much tension between them that it radiates off the pages. I was sucked into this story and could not stop as I wanted to know more about the secrets that are hiding. Of course, it had to end in a cliffhanger that has me chomping at the bit for the next book. I can not wait to keep reading this series to find out what West's dear old dad is hiding and to see what else Pandora is going to uncover. These were both new authors for me and I enjoyed their writing.
I listened to the audiobook and Lessa Lamb, Neill Thorne and Sarah Puckett did a great job bringing the story to life. Neill's sections seemed a little distorted but other than that it was an enjoyable listen.

5/5 ✰ — i lost sleep to finish this series and guess what, no regrets. i loved this series and its spinoff so much. written exceptionally well and i wish i could read it all again for the first time because its perfection truly.
Everyone who says this is Gossip Girl with more angst is spot on. I didn't expect to like this as much as I did because I thought the Gossip Girl comparisons would make it seem to romcom for my taste, but I'm glad I gave it a try. If you love a bad boy and a strong girl, this book is great.

3:19 am hello yo literalmente no se lo que leí mas de la mitad del libro para ser exactos 78% del libro me quillo, lo odie dije que la tipa es estupida which she is pero no 100% y después el tipo se puso todo cute y dique se queda con ella en el médico overnight y después la cuida todo grumpy
