This one seemed to really drag in the beginning and I wasn't sure I wanted to continue reading if it didn't pick up as well as the other Lincoln Rhyme novels.
After about 140 pages it was back on track and the story seemed to take off from there.
Lots of unexpected situations with characters and as usual the twists and turns were amazing.

An excellent book! I've read over a handful of Deaver's books, I know his style of writing, and STILL I never see it coming. My favourite author by far. Reading his books is always such a joy. The Kill Room never left my hands, keeping my partner up at night as I couldn't stop reading.

One of the better Deaver novels though it gets kinda silly at wrap up.
Reaver is the master of the flip: flipping what you think he's setup into something else. That he's so consistently good at it is astonishing.
I enjoyed the plot lines in this one, and look forward to continuing the series...
