Cute!
Also, want to give props to the author for throwing in that little twist at the end. (Don't freak out, there's still nothing but sugar-promise-goodness all up in this story). But from beginning to 95% of this, I thought I already knew what the next book was going to be about. Was totally fine with that too, considering that with this series, you basically know exactly what you're getting before you even begin to dive in. But then we get to the second epilogue and she managed to throw a little curve that made me do a double-take and go, "Wait, really?" So yeah, props to you, Megan Wade. (It made me laugh, honestly, because I was just like... "Well, shit. I was wrong? You got me!")
For those who want to know what the heck I'm talking about, see here:
Anyway, I'm talking to much in my spoiler. Geez. The curve is that the next book is not for Lola. And... *gasp*... Lola and Otis aren't getting together!
I feel like I got hoodwinked... but in a hilarious way with that little twist, and so yeah. There you go. Next book is Otis' book... just not getting with Lola. We haven't even met this chick yet!
I was honestly gonna take a break from reading these sugary books and move on to something else, but nope! Not anymore! Like I said... she got me! (It's almost like she knew somehow. Spooky.)

Spoiler
So this is Samantha's book, but in it we meet her bestie Lola. And I kind of figured, like with the previous two books, that we'd get Sam's story, and then in the next book, we'd get her friend's story. That's how it worked with Jade and Charity, and in this series where predictability is what you expect and almost crave, that's what I expected to happen again. (And yes, if you are here reading these, you are craving some predictability. These are the books you read when you want to know without even having to read the reviews and spoilers that the HEA is guaranteed and the drama is going to be low. Like... SO LOW.)Anyway, I'm talking to much in my spoiler. Geez. The curve is that the next book is not for Lola. And... *gasp*... Lola and Otis aren't getting together!

This one started out a little bit different than the first two. I love Samantha & Lola’s friendship so much. They currently spend their time the exact same way every week. Lola is totally okay with that but Sam wants a change so she signs them up for singles week. The question is do they even end up going?? Remy is one of the Valentine brothers and he works at Valentine’s Bar & Grill with his brothers. Personally Remy is my least favorite brother 🙈. This novella was a lot slower and had more interaction with her and her friend than with Remy. I did love the dogs being added to it, that was fun. This is still really good just probably my least favorite so far. One more book to go…

Samantha is about as innocent as it gets. Life threw her some lemons early on. It took more than a decade, but she's finally decided to put herself out there and try to make lemonade. I liked this book. With the aid of their dogs, her story with Remy Valentine is completely insta-over-the-top, but it has some very cute moments and some delightful heat to help.

This was another great story in this series. I loved Sam and Remy, they had such great chemistry and even though he thought he was being too forward at times it just worked for them. Secondly I loved the dogs too, how cute that they got a HEA as well.

“What was Jade right about?” “How about we take a walk?...I’ll fill you in on the whole story.”
It's Remy's turn to get "soul winked" and the object of his insta-love is the reclusive Sam (Samantha). These two hit it off when they adopt dogs who had become close in the doggy foster home, and the love between them happens thick and fast as it seems to in this Megan Wade series. Insta-heat, insta-love and insta-likeable.
