Another exciting Reacher novel. Follows a formula though....Reacher can't lose!
An enjoyable Reacher novel but I was surprised that I solved the case way, way, before he did. He’s normally much smarter. I can’t believe he missed the obvious clue about the first wife not getting any alimony!! That right there told me wife #2 staged her own kidnapping to leave this abusive creep.

Sometimes I want to read the literary equivalent of junk food, and this fit the bill perfectly. Not that it isn't good, because it is. It's a great thriller with lots of cool twists, and it moves at a breathtaking pace. The writing is pretty simplistic -- there are hardly any complex sentences in the entire novel -- but it's a helluva lot of fun. It's also gritty enough to be engrossing but not overly graphic.
Not a bad example of Childs' Jack Reacher novels. Lots of twists and turns, and a satisfying ending...the good guys are separated from the bad guys, the bad guys all get their due, Reacher puts his brain to work and figures things out, and everyone is left in a better place in the end. I wish I could tell time in my head the way Reacher does!

Reacher wins, again. Travel occurred. People died. Good guys win! It was glorious.

Riveting stuff. One of the best in the series for me.
