I was pleasantly surprised by this book.
When it comes to mental health, you have to be cautious if you don't want to fall in another book that tells you to breathe, be happy and enjoy life. In this book there's a bit more, exploring and explaining the different origins of depression and offering some ways to battle it. I particularly enjoyed that the author recognises how hard those proposals are, but if don't face them the change we need will never start. I also got some insight about the low efficacy of meds and other treatments being researched, matters that in my 20 years of battling depression didn't heard before. Overall is a nice book, recommended for anyone who wants to dig deeper into what is depression and why there's so many people affected by it.

A life changing book. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
“The response to a huge crisis isn’t to go home and weep. It’s to go big. It’s to demand something that seems impossible—and not rest until you’ve achieved it.”
A look into why we are so depressed/anxious and how to get back to the things that truly make us feel like human beings.
