This one was just ok for me. I actually like their friends to lovers trope, but the conflict of Mollie's background to me felt thrown in there due to just having a conflict in the story. It just felt uneventful for me. I did like seeing some of the side characters to flush out their stories or to see of what is to come next in the series. I still look forward to what's next.
Narrators Jeremy York and Lessa Lamb were good for their characters. I'm really starting to enjoy Lessa.

This was ok, I liked the chemistry and the dynamic between the characters and there were some steamy scenes. I had issues with how alpha male the main character was, I didn't love the ending, the whole relationship felt rushed and if they had taken the time to talk about some things, the conflict wouldn't have happened. At least, the conflict didn't drag, it also actually solved pretty quickly.

Childhood friends Kane and Mollie are so not what I expected. Their story was so organic and authentic, real and still magical.

Kane is an absolute good guy. He's kind, sweet and thoughtful.

I enjoyed reading Kane and seeing old favourites from the Arizona Vengeance team, along with new, furry characters, that might have stolen my heart completely.

Kane will make you swoon! His friends to lovers romance with Mollie is just awesome! I love how he supports her, even if I wanted to knock him upside the head at one point! Just great characters in a great story!

I adore this trope. Saying that this book fell a little flat for me I don’t know if it was lack of chemistry or understanding from either characters or what. I just wasn’t feeling it. And that’s ok I don’t have to love every book.
I liked that Kane and Mollie did talk things out other than that one time. (Which kinda bugged me because if they can talk everything else out this one thing they didn’t and it was a big thing.)
I hope we get the story of Kane’s teammate who wants his wife back. That was the sub story that I was intrigued with.

I loved this latest fun, heartfelt, sexy, friends to lovers romance in Bennett's Arizona Vengeance series. It felt like a fresh start as she moves to the second line of these sexy hockey players. This is Kane, and his best friend since college, Mollie's story. Mollie has an adventurous spirit as she explores the country with her dog writing about her travels, and experiences, on her travel blog. When she is attacked by a stalker, she goes to the only place she feels safe. Kane has enjoyed his life as a successful sexy single athlete, but when his best friend needs him, he instantly changes into protection mode. They reconnect and soon realize their feelings have grown into more. They decide to take a chance, and their chemistry is explosive! They are so cute and sweet together and Kane is so swoony as he stands up to the light ribbing he gets from his teammates and brothers. They accept her immediately along with the women who have grown close from previous stories. I love the camaraderie, and family feel of all these past and new characters. But when as Kane makes permanent plans, can Mollie put down roots when she has a free and adventurous spirit? This story also sets up other stories about Kane's friends and teammates. I am especially excited to read more about Jim! This series doesn't get old to me. This story is still a fun, sexy, and passionate story, and I can't get enough of these sexy hockey players, and the women who challenge and love them!
Bennett has done it again. Kane and Mollie came out the gate swinging and scored a knockout punch to my heart. York and Lamb take you inside of friendship full of surprise twists and heartbreaking longing. Friends for life, reevaluate the danger of falling in love. An age old tale with a breathtaking finish.
