A fun festive read
Whilst most of the Centauri Captives books can be read as stand alones, at the very least you need to have read Conquered (Book #4), which is the beginning of Aja and Vyraz's story. I would also suggest that, to avoid spoilers, you read Book #5 as well.
It was great to not only catch up with Aja and Vyraz, but also some of the other characters we have met in the story. I thoroughly enjoyed this multi-stranded story, that wove a story as captivating as it's name. The story is so easy to read and is a wonderful mix of excitement, action, danger and hope. If you love stories with a festive element at this time of year, and enjoy steamy, sci-fi reads, then I really do recommend this heart warming and wonderful novella.

Sweet little follow-up story with the Archon and Aja. A nice holiday tradition began and a hope for their future.
