I was enjoying this book more than the first one because i really loved Adam Connor. However, the heroine really annoyed me throughout the entire book. Her character was just way to extra and OTT. She constantly talked about the size of Adam's junk and sexualized him. She was super immature and annoying. Her whole I hate you, but want to screw you mentality was tiring. He whole curse and stance on not falling in love, yet the opening chapter started with how much she believed in love....made no sense. They didn't have any emotional connection since she refused to even say she liked him.

There absolutely no reason to hate Adam Conner, just the heroine.

I loved how this book was based on a side character in "To Love Jason Throne".

Lucy was a little annoying in the first book but her story definitely redeemed her! Her character is really well developed and I love her personality.

“My heart is fucking broken, sweetheart.” “As it should be, and don’t call me sweetheart.”

Then there is Adam Conner, a single dad... beautiful.

She was so fucking beautiful, even more so in the soft moonlight. Unfortunately, she was also a spirited lunatic—a beautiful one, sure, but still a lunatic.

At that moment, with those words, I fell for her a little.

Not to mention his little boy is adorable!!! I don't read many book with children in it but I did fall in love with Aiden, he had my heart from the moment he spoke.

“Can we call her now? If we call her now, we can ask her if she missed me. ’Cause if she did, she’ll come for me, I know it.”

I really liked how he fell first, Lucy always said she couldn't fall in love with him.

“I don’t hate you anymore, Adam Connor, but I can’t love you. I can’t fall for you like that."

I wanted this girl…this strong, beautiful girl. I wanted her to be mine. To hold her hand and walk on the street. To smile with her. Do simple things. Things other people took for granted. I wanted to laugh with her. I wanted to sneak into her heart just as I’d sneaked into her bedroom.

Favourite quote in the whole book:
"I hope it’s you, Adam. I hope you’re the hero of my story, because I deserve to be loved, goddammit. I deserve to have someone dance with me to no music.”

I think whoever has read this book by now can say that the FL likes big monstrous dick....
Honestly I didn't mind the constant drama as it was what kept book interesting because there was nothing between the leads. I shipped Lucy more with Dan that Adam at a point. I am not a very big fan loopholes and this book had MANY.

- Lucy(FL) obsessed over people and their dicks and boobs too much. She was straight up spying on the actor (ML),Adam and his son- Aiden. she was constantly for days watched them, took their photos and wanted to see his dick.

- Lucy hated Adam for sending her to jail because she was just looking at them for a few days.

"I wondered if I would get arrested if I just hopped over the wall, ran to his side while his eyes were closed, and pulled down his shorts. They wouldn’t count a case of extreme curiosity as a crime, right? Hell, maybe what he was packing in there would be worth the time I’d spend behind bars, daydreaming about his cock."

- Adam was idk okay.... He didn't have a personality imo just plane flat. Although the way he treated his son was sweet.

- During the book the FL was assa*lted at a party. Rather than resolving that topic the two best friends were talking about her obsession with Adam's dick. Idk but such sensitive topics are not be taken lightly.

- Another incident when some stalker broke into their house, when Adam came rathe than letting her rest or somethin' they had a sex session.

-The writing was a bit off and cringey I say.

Rethinking if it should be a one star or two.

I absolutely loved it! I flew through this book, I LOOOOVED these characters. Lucy was immediately loveable and relatable and I wanted to be her best friend. Plus, she’s hilarious. Adam was the perfect single Dad, and his son was just adorable.

I had so much fun reading his book. Everything that came out of Lucy's mouth was gold. And her relationship with Adam? Everything that happened from page 1 was hilarious. But I'm glad that Lucy found her HEA and her passion to work on.

The start of this book is wild, then it twists and turns into tropes it picks up and drops just as quickly. It’s utterly forgettable and just nowhere near as good as her later work.

To my eyes, this is the perfection of romcoms.
Quirky female lead done right, love interest that knows what he wants and is not sleeping arround. Having read the first book, the friendships were so satisfing to read and it had the perfect ammount of hotness/spiciness .
Yes, slightly cheesy and unbelievable plot but I don't read romcoms because they're 100% acurate either way.
