Excuse me while I ugly cry over every single characters fate in this one - except Percy, fuck that twat.

What's there to say... One of the best known Kings. Great world building. Great characters. So much food for thought... And so much heartbreak.

That's maybe the best way to describe it. The two girls, the Native American, the guards who seemingly aren't quite sure how they stumbled into being so casual with their horrible horrible horrible jobs - except Percy, that god-damn fucking assface.

And of course, our main character. I honestly don't know what was worse in the end - the horribly detailed scene, or his serenity.

Whichever it was - heartbreaking beyond the vast majority of stories.

This is a great book to read. I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. If you have seen this movie you would definitely love the book.

Absolutely loved this book from cover to cover. I think my only complaint is the amount of time & detail dedicated to describing this poor man’s UTI.

But seriously, this book is heartbreaking, beautiful, engaging, and all around a really good read. Highly recommend.
