Something emotionally devastating does happen in basically every book in this series, but I'd go so far as to say this might be one of the most emotionally devastating. Also, that sort of plot twist at the beginning almost gives you whiplash. This book definitely sets up the battle that's to come in the last book, but we also get to know all of the pack even better than we did the first time. Can't wait to finish out the series!

emotional sad

The fact that Robbie had his memories stolen was so terrible and sad the whole time. But I loved the wolf pack and how they face advertisy. Definitely curious about the next book with Gavins story

Bullet review:
+Still a great book with fantastic characters.
+This is the first time I think we got a genuinely well-written and mega intense villain this series.
+The relationships between the characters are super interesting, especially considering our main character has amnesia + false memories for a large portion of the book.
-I personally didn't enjoy Robbie as much as the previous two protagonists in this series. He's a fine character and well-written and all, but I just didn't really click with him as a main character the same way I did Ox and Gordo.
-A sex scene ending up fixing a huge problem in the story just felt way too out-there and unrealistic for me. This isn't the worst scene ever or anything, but really, out of all the things they tried to solve this issue, somehow only sex can somehow solve this problem? I don't know, this didn't work for me at all (but I am asexual, so do note that that I'm probably not the best authority on sex scene logic).
