What a lovely story. Adventure, pirates traders and a slow burn romance with lots of secrets.
Can't wait to cherry on with the series.

Not only was this so beautifully written it was almost lyrical, but the world is so fully fleshed out that I feel like I was actually in all the places Fable went to.

There are times when you read a book, and you wish the author did something different with how the story played out, but this was absolutely perfect. Finding out how Fable got to Jeval, who Saint is to her, how Saint and West know each other, and every detail that Young shows is in this book is so beautiful and perfect.

I am so excited to read Namesake - to see what happens with Fable and Saint as well as Fable and West AND to see what happens with what is revealed at the end of this book. So so good!!!

Veamos...

Although the book took about 75 pages to get into it, this is such a good book with a great story line and a cliff hanger that leaves you scrambling to read the next book! Loved the characters and their development. This author leaves you feeling swept up in the story and your heart on your sleeve for all the characters, main and supporting.

A great read for an afternoon at the pool! It has a little bit of everything- adventure, mystery, found family, romance, pirates! Definitely going to go straight into the next one.

This book was alright. The plot was interesting enough. I just think that the book lacked intriguing characters. All of the them felt "written". Good characters- strong, complicated characters- should jump off the page. They should feel realistic to the point where you can imagine them having lives off the page. You can see them eating cereal and having a chat with a stranger in line for a public restroom. These characters... Not so much. They felt 2-dimensional. They were close to being sort of fleshed out, but they ultimately fell through. Still a pretty decent read though.
