I have been looking for this book for ages, I had almost decided to just buy it online but then relized that I could have one look at my local library and there it was. I'm so glad I finally got to read this book, I cant believe it took me so long after reading the first one to find the next. I read this book in under two days, reading 190 pages in under two hours on day one and then finishing it exactly 24 hours after starting this book.

slightly better than the first book. Highly predictable but so cute and fluffy so still on the same level :-) A fun series to just relax with and not have a care in the world.

However, and I hate having to say this, I think a bit of second-book-syndrome came into play this time. A lot of the crazy antics that her agent, Wilbur, as well as her wannabe-teenage father and lawyer, but loveable, stepmother brought were gone. And that’s just because the characters were. Shipping Harriet off to Japan—while cool—left all of the side characters I’d come to love behind, and so, it felt like the book had lost something…

don’t know why but this book makes me even more anxious. seriously don’t know

I don't think that a book has made me laugh out loud like this one did for years and years. I'm not usually a fan of funny books but this series has so much soul and Harriet is such a fresh, unusual character that I've totally fallen for it. My Yr 8s were telling me that I HAD to read this series and they were so right that I wish it were term time and not the Summer holidays just so that I can thank them!
