This one was too insta-love for me. The other two in the series at least had a little bit more time for the relationship to develop I felt like. With the year as a ghost in the first book and the meeting each other a year after a one-night stand. I also didn't feel like these characters really knew each other. It was clear that they did, but because we didn't see it in this novella (all of it was purely physical attraction) I didn't really believe it. I think this one could have benefitted from an extra 20-30 pages. I am looking forward to Sheila's novella though!

Spicy and sweet, Christmas party crashers meet by chance and fall for each other by New Years.

More insta-love than the rest. Very short, and I had trouble finding the couple believable because, other than sex, we’re told they went on dates and had conversations, but none of them are described.

This was my last favourite of the series so far. I didn't like the male love interest, which made it hard for me to buy in to the romance. Tropes include mistaken identity, an alpha male, and miscommunication.
