Okay I liked this one more than books 2 and 3. Book 1 still stands as my favorite in this series but this book had a little something extra special about it.

Our heroine Maggie is the younger sister of the hero from book 2. We know that she was sexually assaulted and is recovering from the trauma of that - we found this out in the last couple of books when all the sex trafficking stuff went down. Rhys our hero is a total playboy, but it’s just a mask. He was one of the most fascinating characters out of everyone we met in these last 3 books. I really enjoyed the flashbacks to when he was little and the relationship we see with his mom and dad. Queue the tears. I cried A LOT.

The spice in this book was fantastic. There was a beautiful build up with these two characters - tons of sexual tension and they payoff was *chef’s kiss* 🔥 Although there was a bit of Instalove feel to this story, it wasn’t as apparent as the last two books and the connection between these two felt a lot more believable. I definitely recommend this one!

Beneath the Stars is the fourth book in the Falling Stars series by the talented AL Jackson. I'm a huge, huge fan of Amy's and I always know when I pick of one of her books she's going to take me on an emotional ride, in the best possible way. I've been patiently waiting for Rhys's story since we first met him! It's not easy, but it is romantic and poetic. Rhys and Maggie are forbidden. She's the younger sister of his best friend's husband and she's a lot younger than him. But they are drawn to each other. It's magnetic and fascinating and just meant to be. This story is powerful, emotional and full of love, loss, pain and suspense. It's also full of some of our favorite characters of Amy's and their loves and kids. I love the kids! You don't want to miss this one!

“Now go on before I carry you back to my bed and your brother doesn’t see you for the next three days.” He winked. And I finally understood what it meant to swoon.—-Same Maggie! Same!! Rhys is definitely a guy to swoon over

Y’all the emotional teams that both of these characters as well as I did is astronomical. I really liked Rhys and Maggie’s story I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I did but boy oh boy did I have a great time while reading this these two are so cute and sweet to each other and they deserve nothing but the best.

Loved this book!! Rhys had my heart from the beginning, and he just further cemented my devotion as the story went on. He was a completely broken soul, and Maggie seemed to be the only one to see it. She saw his hurt, his pain, his burden behind every smile, every laugh. And she wanted to prove to him he was worth loving - worth saving. I also loved Maggie, and how she never gave up fighting for what she wanted. She fought for Rhys - never gave up no matter the obstacle. I loved them together, and I’m glad we got to their dreams start to come true. The only thing I wish we could’ve gotten was a resolution to her mom - I feel like it was kind of left open ended. Other than that, LOVED this book and highly recommend.

Beyond my expectations

This book exceeded all of my expectations. Rhys and Maggie's connection was soul crushing deep and I loved every moment of it. This was my first book by A.L Jackson but it will not be my last. I can't wait to go back and read about the rest of the family ❤️ All the Amor, Amor, Amor❤️

I don't know how Author A.L. Jackson does it. We have another story that did not disappoint in the Falling Stars Series and it entails Rhys Manning and Maggie Fitzgerald's story. A forbidden pairing that is becoming harder to resist when they are only friends and also end up living together with only a bathroom separating them for the summer.

Rhys has his demons. He is broken over his past and it broke my heart how hard he was on himself. That in turns has him needing to keep his distance with anyone that matters to him afraid for his past to repeat itself. Maggie also has her secrets and the need to protect the ones that she loves from getting involved with her plans. Two people who can see the turmoil deep inside the other and the need to be the one to take care of one other and to themselves. As the summer passes by it is becoming inevitable that they cannot avoid what is brewing. In agreement their relationship is temporary and on the down low; however, it is becoming more challenging when the unexpected twists and turns keep coming up.

Get ready for the fire to burn deep and to fall hard between two people who are willing to risks themselves to protect the ones that matter the most. Their intense chemistry will have you wanting more. Regardless what their heart is telling them their actions may either make them or break them at the end.
