Irreverent, funny, but maybe trying just a tiny hair too hard.

Still, I love the idea of Howard the Duck, a powerless, hapless figure in the Marvel Universe who still doggedly tries to do his job despite intergalactic warfare breaking out around him on a daily basis. I also like the relationship he has with Spider-man.

This was pretty fun overall and a good opportunity to poke some fun at Marvel's biggest names (highlights include whiny Spidey and womanizing Torch)

A wild, weird, and witty ride, following the adventures of Howard the Duck and a flock of other Marvel characters as they fight Talos in NYC. It’s a ton of fun, packed with puns, and I’d recommend it to everyone.

Zdarsky's Howard the Duck isn't quite as funny as its closest comparison, Unbeatable Squirrel Girl but it's enjoyable enough.

Loved it

I never read anything about Howard the Duck before seeing this although I remember the hype of him after the Guardians of the Galaxy became a big deal. I personally enjoyed it because it got me interested in what kind of character Howard used to be.

Needless to say, he's a talking alien duck who got it pretty rough on Earth as a private eye. He does his job seemingly well and encounters a lot of heroes in here but I think what gets me is kinda how surly he is the entire time. All in all, I loved it, though.
