Well, that was...something. I enjoyed Howard the Duck and his repeated screw-ups and attempts to fix the results of said screw-ups, but was left with a little bit of a shrug. This volume had a ton of guest appearances and cross-overs as well, most entertainingly Sad Spiderman. The main appeal seems to be the absurdity a talking duck with the vocabulary of a noir detective waddling through the Marvel streets of NYC, which turns out to be pretty fun.
