If you are a Swiftie you need to read this ASAP! This is the most swiftie novel to ever exist in the best way!  It is actually inspired by Taylor Swift, coincidentally it is about a breakup tour, even though this was written months prior to the announcement of the “Eras Tour”. This novel is a second-chance romance that explores the mentality behind a female singer-songwriter who, similarly to Swift, has been labeled the “Queen of breakup songs” by the public/media. It really delves into the mindset of someone who bares their heart and soul to the world, as well as the consequences of that. It also begs the question that many artists (who write primarily about heartbreak) are asked, “what will you write about when you ever get happy?” I was incredibly intrigued and fascinated by this concept in general, and even more since I am such a huge Taylor Swift fan!

Wibroka writes the best male love interests honestly. I loved Max, he was such a sweet, down to earth man who truly loves her with his whole being. I loved this idea of the pop-star going back for her greatest “lost love”, albeit in an unconventional way. Their chemistry is palpable from the very beginning, and only becomes stronger and clearer. This romance will definitely pull on your heartstrings. I will admit that when I read the three full songs at the end (yes they included three full songs mentioned throughout the books at the end, what can’t they do) I did tear up, and I don’t usually get emotional at books.

Wibberly and Siegemund-Broka (aka Wibroka) have some of the most poetic and beautiful writing in the romance genre, in my opinion. I read almost solely romance, and their work always stands out to me. I would recognize it anywhere, I could pick it out of a lineup. The writing is truly intricate and moving, and I would truly read anything they wrote. Needless to say, this is my fourth book of theirs I have rated 5⭐️, out of the four books of theirs I have read, which no other author I have ever read has done.

I was sent this advanced reader copy by the authors, but this review was 100% my own. If you have read my reviews before, you know I am brutally honest. I am lucky enough to know the authors (through social media) and they were kind enough to want to send me a copy! They are seriously the sweetest.
