While this book was cute, it wasn't for me. It was all fine, but I struggled to care about what Riley and Max we're going thought.

I read some low reviews of this book from Swifties and feel like I need to be honest and transparent up front that I am not a Swiftie. It's not that I don't like her music, but I definitely am not a follower. My favorite music by her is still her very first album... Anyway, that being said I loved this book. I love second chance romance and I love music and I loved these characters even when they were being stupid.

I really loved the parts that revolved around them playing and writing music together. I found those parts to be incredibly intimate even when they were on stage and even when they weren't being honest about their feelings for each other or communicating the best.

I also really loved Max's heart for his day job. I love reading about characters that truly love what they do. I also loved how Riley treated everyone who she worked with and her fans. That is my kind of celebrity.

I listened to this via Libby and highly recommend it on audio. The narrators were great and as always I loved the writing of this author couple. They are amazing writers.
