I did really enjoy this book towards the end, I am a fan of slow burn but there’s slow burn and then this book 🤣 you do have to have a lot of patience for this book!
Nevertheless, Violet and Cole’s relationship is very real and raw, the grumpy sunshine trope came through heavy. They are an adorable couple. However, I’ve always wondered how he figured it out that it was her?
Elsie Silver also touches on some important points in the book which I’ve noticed she weaves into her stories which makes me stop and think.

This book holds a special place in my heart. I love all the eastern stories so be able to read. Violet story was just amazing. Violet is sweet and spunky and determined and you can’t help but love her call on the other hand comes off as a grumpy jerk but the more you get to know him the more your heart aches for him. Watching these two find each other is just amazing.

YES!!! THIS IS WHAT I WANTED OUT OF THOSE OTHER BOOKS! I can't tell what made this book so different, but it was such a breath of fresh air in comparison to the last two. This couple was loveable, realistic, and not toe-curling cringy.
