I seriously love this awesome high fantasy series, and it was an absolute poignant delight seeing Tris and Bet as youngsters noticing each other even way back when.
Equally moving is Roland’s own burgeoning relationship with formerly abused, but now thriving, dragon Aderyn! There’d better be a spinoff about these two when they’re older! Pretty please with sugar on top!

Sweet little glimpses of a solstice after the end of book 3. I really like Roland and I hope he gets his own book. Bet continue to grow and let his heart out.

I loved these little peeks into the Fire and Valor world.
The original short story released last year gives us Bet and Tris's first meeting, a bit of a traumatic episode which is made all the better by plum cake.
The newest one is a delightful snippet with boy king Roland and his dragon best friend.
