Please just know that in my sacred heart of hearts...this books is a 1.5 to me.
I don’t even know what i was expecting when I picked this up but the illustrations inside definitely wasn’t. None of them matched what any of the characters were described to look like and to be honest, they came off a little racist looking when it came to the darker skinned characters.

This book kind of disappointed me, and that made me sad. I went into this book with really high hopes. I had been watching Merlin for a while, and I was reading the original King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table for school, so I was pretty surrounded by this sort of content. However, this book ended up letting me down. There were so many characters, and even after learning about some of the mythology, I still felt lost. And the ending... ugh. I wish that I had liked this book more, but in the end, it wasn't what I wanted.
I had to DNF at 66 pages. I had high hopes for this one and I just couldn't get into it. I've read other reviews that the writer was moreso writing a screenplay, which makes a lot of sense.
