It's always a good feeling when the last book in a series is your favorite. I loved this one. As it normally goes with books like this, where there are different storylines, I was way more interested in some than others (Ferrin is the most interesting character, but I thought Jason's quest was way more exciting).

Overall, I was intrigued til the end (even with the storylines that I wasn't *as* interested in) and I would even be interested in reading more books in this series, if any were ever written. It's left so open that it seems like a possibility. Pretty much all of the characters I liked best died, though, so that's a bummer, but the world is enough to keep me reading.

“All my love forever, Jason”

I’m sobbing!! This series has been nothing like I expected. The themes of personal sacrifice, perseverance, faith, and grief are exceptional painful but so important!!

This book is an amazing wrap up to the series, everything that Brandon Mull has ever hinted at is used and used well to complete the story in a satisfying way.

The parts that made me cry the most was Drake’s death because I wasn’t expecting anyone to die that early and when Jason was reading the prophecy. For Darian to soothe every fear about whether or not Jason was supposed to be there just turned me into a puddle.

What a great way to end the series! I really liked how he incoporated different aspects of the prophecy into the book. I will have to say I thought the ending would have been reversed, but I still liked it.

I didn't realize that this series was the first book he wrote as an author, it just didn't get published before Fablehaven. I've loved every series I've read of him so far!

Question for those who have read the book... who do you think is on the cover? I have mixed views of it. And also, who was the traitor? I think I know, but they didn't explicitly talk about how it incorporated with the prophecy, so now I'm second guessing myself.

Anyway, I loved the last several chapters of how he wrapped up the whole thing. Great book and great series!

Chasing the Prophecy was So. Good! I'm so glad I stuck with the series after the first book: It only got better! So awesome. I want more, I don't want it to be over! But seriously, it was great. But I'm sad that some of my favorite characters died! I guess that's what happens in a war.... :( I still have the complaint as last time, I didn't love Rachel's character arc again but I see why it had to happen. I just wish it was someone else:/

Overall, This series definitely redeemed itself from the first book and I thoroughly enjoyed the plot, characters, and even the end! (I'm slightly picky about my endings :P)

Satisfying conclusion to an entertaining series.

The book was amazing. Brandon Mull writes some of the best books I've ever read.

I’m sold. This was totally worth it. Fantastic even. I might even get over the two things I really disliked in the first book (the hippopotamus and the non-quest trickery).

I’ll be reading this series with my son in the coming years.

Not as good as the Fablehaven series but definitely worth taking the time to read all three books in this trilogy.
