The book is amazing. The whole old money vs new money and the constant chasing of wealth just amazing. I can tell why this is required reading because it really is a raw story of wealth and how in the end of the day no matter how much money you have people won’t care unless they like you for who you are. The only real critique is that they kinda spent too long on the relationship aspects but overall amazing book.

Homoerotic subtext and murder, arguably the two most important elements of any good story.
