Another quick and easy Christmas romance. It was pretty entertaining but nothing special. It was kinda weird how hard they harped on the “we are enemies” part by like literally calling each other “enemy” and “nemesis”. I may just have missed it but I also think that there was an issue that wasn’t resolved or brought to light.

It’s a cute semi holiday themed romance. What more can I say?!

Another good narration by Abby Craden, I really like her voice for these books, it fits very well. She can do those gruff cowboys as well as female voices.

In this one Holly, the ever smiling waitress, who supports her sister, meets Adam, the 1 dollar tipper, the most annoying man in the world. And yes there is a reason, he was all awww she liked me, and then he noticed she flirts with everyone so hurt feelings cos of a dick ex wife. Oh Adam, man up!

They are thrown together. Passive aggressiveness. And one really really stupid move from Adam, grrr, you deserved having your nuts kicked. Not cool.

They argue, she bakes up a storm, they get close, they live happily ever after.

Enjoyable, xmas feels, and it will make you hungry for cake.

Characters that we love to hate and hate to love. At many points in the book, I hated or loved the characters. But the ending was that adorable rom-com warm and fuzzy feeling.

As a cowboy romance girl I was stoked to find this book and wanted to love it so bad. It was bad enough I DNF’d it at about 50%. I absolutely could not get over how horrible the MMC was. He was so blatantly mean to Holly the whole time I was reading. Ruining her chances in the bake off, not tipping her well at all, and honestly just being a dick to her. I keep thinking I’m over it and moving on to another book, but then I remember it and get mad all over again.

I was a little hesitant about Adam at the beginning of this story. His poor treatment of Holly because he was bothered that her freindly flirting as a waitress wasn't reserved for only him and the pettiness and anger that he dragged out for far too long was not a good look. Yes, Holly gave him a hard time as well, but only in response to his behavior. When his anger and pettiness get the best of him and he sabatoges her without knowing exactly what he was messing up for her, I really thought there was no way he could redeem himself. Yet, somehow, the way that he fought so hard to get Holly to take care of herself first for once and the way he supported and encouraged her to follow her dreams really resonated with me and won me over.

Holly was a strong and loyal character who devoted her life to making sure that her sister got through college and enjoyed her time while there. Mostly at the expense of her happiness and dreams. I love that loyalty but I'm so happy that she was able to realize that she needed to put herself first once in while.

I absolutely loved Adam and Holly together. This was a great addition to the Wyoming Cowboy series!!

2.5 stars- it was a cute story…
Enemies to lovers, both were very stubborn characters.
There where some errors in there that editing could have helped but mostly it was okay
