I really enjoyed this book. There are some editing things that I found cumbersome (not typos or anything, more using "I" instead of "me" or including sentence fragments) but that didn't stop me from devouring this text. The pacing was great and I found myself enthralled by the characters. I was on the edge of my seat from the action. I can't wait for the next book.

I finished this book last night and I CANNOT stop thinking about it. Like HOWWWW???? WHYYY???? WHO IS ALIVE??? WHO IS ACTUALLY EVIL??? This book literally has everything from romance to murder. The murder wasn’t nice though. The murder was really really sad. I was very sad. It made me want to become a murderer myself. Anyways, this book is so well written and I will literally be recommending is to allllllll my friends.

SOS so so good although I was slightly confused at some of the plot twists and the things about cenna at the end CAUSE I DONT KNKW WHO SHE IS!!!!! But anyways loved it litetrally got trust issues now but amazing cliffhanger and I'm so excited for book 2 !!!(plz come out quicklyxx)

While I loved the idea for this book, the plot felt rushed and some of the writing was a bit repetitive.

I also felt there were a few plot holes (which given, they could be tied in through a sequel, so that could be irrelevant).

As far as the romance aspect, It felt like the main character had more chemistry with Sar, than with Evander or Torryn.

Overall, not a bad book! Everything just felt rushed!
