I really did like the premise.
It started really, absolutely, magnificiently, hooked me right there and got me going. I enjoyed how the two storylines intertwined, the whole different POVs between Viv and Carly. But somewhere along the way, it felt rushed. Like, the stories with Nick and Callum, and Heather. I know side characters are not meant to be in the spotlight, but when you introduce them, you don't go halfway on fleshing them out. For some reasons, I find the rest characters, minus Viv and Carly, have become more like a side note... Even Viv at the end of the book! I was expecting something with a great bang from beginning to start.

Such a great spooky mystery thriller. I give this a 4.3, just because there were a few loop holes for me and at times it got slowwwww but not enough to dislike this book and it's wrapped up ending. This story has a little bit of everything and the spooky was amazing! Adding this author to my list of more TBRs!

A solid little horror/mystery excursion. Interesting premise and gripping story slightly dampened with a lacklustre ending.

I simply adore feminine rage, and it took center stage in this book. There wasn’t a moment where I found myself bored or not entertained. The pacing was absolute perfection & every page answered questions & left me with new ones.
This book is such a love letter to true crime lovers as well as the paranormal girlies. I find myself guessing the twists in most thriller/horror books I read nowadays and yet this one threw me for a loop!
This story is going to hit harder for any woman who picks it up. Reading it made me feel like a smaller part of a bigger whole. Us women all in this together in one way or another. It doesn’t matter how different we appear to be, we can all end up in a forgotten ditch with no evidence and no one around to care. Something about that really lights you up from the inside out & ignites that ageless anger we all hold.
Simply perfect. Loved every second.

Could hardly put this down. A great murder mystery with hints of haunted/ghosty vibes that didn’t feel overly hokey. Also has a strong message about the treatment of female victims by police and the media.

DID NOT FINISH

There was nothing wrong with this! It had such a good start, I just realized today I hadn’t read any of it in 48 hours and couldn’t remember the main characters name
