Overhyped but still nice and spooky. Some parts of the ending don't make sense, and one character that I won't name feels out of place, like he isn't really part of the story, he doesn't really add anything to it. The way the ghosts "work" is also not consistent and I'm not sure why there are more than the main one (trying very hard not to spoil anything!!). The ending was the weakest point of the book and could have been longer. The thing at the end with the candy machine is unneccessary, it is the least logical place of all for what was there to be there (not a body!). The characters could have been more fleshed out. Still, I like the vibes and the points the book makes about gender and violence against women.
