absolutely wonderful. loved the way it was written, and the pacing between current timeline and flashbacks was perfectly executed. ending was perfect also, I was worried the story was going to conclude in a way that was disappointing but it was such a great payoff!

I found this compelling: I narrative sit in the near future, where many species have gone extinct, and the main character is trying to follow the migration of terns from Greenland to Antarctica. She makes her way onto a fishing ship filled with diverse and complicated characters, and many conflicts and wounds emerge.

Franny was a very frustrating character to me, but written beautifully and in a way that I couldn't really help but liking her by the end of it. Supporting cast was charming and carried the message beautifully. A quick read with some really wonderful quotes, if this is already on your to read list it's worth the time
