the ending... what the fuck. 
it was so good. 
SAARA EL-ARIFI I LOVE YOU
but seriously... wow. 
this world is so fucking complex and it's crazy how she just developed that.
i really enjoyed this book, however not more than the first one. 
i feel like we barely got any sylah because she was just passed out the whole time and when she eventually woke she just annoyed me. 
however i really loved jond's povs which surprised me. i found myself even liking his character (him and his kitten🫶🫶🫶)
the storyline around anoor was done pretty well and DID I MENTION THE ENDING?? IT BLEW MY FUCKING MIND

all in all the whole story was so thought through and i'm excited for what the third and final book is going to bring...
