I very much like the books that take place in a controlled environment, like on a train or a plane. This story had a lot of twists and turns, like any Christie book. I really liked the twist that this had. Granted it was based on greed (and what crime isn't based on that?!), but it surprised me.
I love when Agatha leans into the comedy, this one had some great moments of silliness, such as when Poirot accuses the murderer (won’t say who!) by revealing that they worked on a snake farm(!) and the victim was poisoned with boomslang venom! A delightfully overwrought murder plot.

We all saw the part where the main characters bonded over hating black people, right?
