i think this one is my least favorite of the series, but it was still really good. i wish there was a little more character development with Beau, especially with all his issues post-military and stuff. i loved the Harvey bonus chapter at the end and the way it nicely tied everything up while also giving a little call back to the other books in the series

This one, like the rest of this series, doesn't really need an intro. This family will get into your heart and I don’t want to let them go! I hope we get more of them later on with Elsie! We have the hometown hero coming back from a mission gone wrong and the local bartender who is younger and from a bad family in town. It all goes down with a fake relationship/ engagement and they are forced to live close which leads to more but with this one a super slow burn.

4 spicy - once it happens it gets hot
1 lol- family dinners
4 badass FMC- she works through a lot
