Wow. Just wow. Thought I’d stop with the originals but might just go and read the spin-offs now…
4.5 No puedo decir más que, gran desarrollo de personajes y sobre todo de viaje
i love percy jackson this book is so omigod like for real ! first of all, the plot twist-ish element with selena bouregard is always a great thing to read because if you look back, you feel like "oh i should've seen it coming" with her extreme reactions to chris's death and the fights following up on that, since they were obviously filled with guilt.
the battle is also written in a very nice writing style, rick's writing always feels nice to read it's easy and whilst a lot happens at the same time, it's never too much. i also truly love rachel so much, like she's a great person and feels realistic to me, and i feel like she gets hated on too much because "she got in the way of percabeth" and i kind of do blame rick for that, because he wrote rachel like that and made annabeth react like that and imo that was a bit unnecessary.
but honestly what i love the most about rick riordan and percy jackson is that he teaches myths and greek mythogy in maybe the not most accurate way, but it's still what got me interested in mythology and i will forever be grateful for that (special thanks to nico diangelo my best boy the light of my life he's done the most for people fr)
conclusion: yeahh percabeth so real
