A cute, quick little romp that checks up mainly on Charlie/William, as it's his POV, but really on all the characters as they gather for Christmas and then discover a random dead body in the kitchen...dun dun DUN.

To be honest I would have rather just have had this been an angst free look at all the couples, even if it's just a quick peak, than a quick murder mystery that gets solved real quick - but oh yeah, the butler, Niall, used to be an intelligence agent, mmkay! We just kinda breeze past that big info.

Plus, ALL their families came, and that's just a lot of people to keep straight. Having to stop for a moment to try to remember who this or that was gave me a little bit of a headache at times. It was a little too chaotic.

We get a sweet Charlie/Leo moment at the end, but it's very brief.

It was nice to get to see these characters again, sure, and it had some great humor and shenanigans in it, but I think this short could have been better utilized just have it be a stress free, angst free holiday short, maybe having a chapter from each couple/character's perspective with a little couple moment or two. There were 11 short chapters in this, so it could have been done.

So this was nice, but mostly "meh"

A nice rap up to this series, but could have been a better one.

It was entertaining enough, but didn't measure up to the series all that well.
