DNFed. I realized that I hated Edward with every fiber of my being and the only reason I had any patience at all with the Twilight series, oddly enough, was Bella. 1 star for giving the fans what they want tho

Hearing the storyline from Edward’s perspective was fun. It gave more background into the way he thought along with more insight to his family and their history. I would be interested in something similar for the rest of the series.
It did drag a lot in parts. It was almost like a long ranting, inner monologue. Close to 1/4 of the book probably could have been cut (I might be a smidge dramatic, but not much).

When I call this book trash. I call it trash in the most loving, team Edward way possible. I lived for the twilight series in high school and regularly re-read it.
This book just gives more insight into the toxic relationship between Edward and Bella.
