Selected this book because it was billed a a modern Pride & Prejudice. The similarities we few and far between. It tried a bit to be like P & P, but I’d say failed miserably. I thought this book was also poorly written with little emotion coming off the page and a weak plot. I felt it read more like a diary written by a seventh grader.
