Loved this book. Everything felt so refreshing. The different POVs, how well thought out each character was, the complexity in each relationship (familial, platonic, romantic). This was such a good portrayal of the many changes that happen during senior year of undergrad. Will and EJ’s relationship was so heartwarming. The pacing of the growth of their relationship alongside their character development had me smiling at the pages. However, the romance was the icing on the cake. The experiences of each character is what kept me engaged, specifically EJ. EJ, my pop culture deficient, antique loving, tradition keeping bestie. I loved her with all my heart and saw soo much of myself in her. I will defend her with my life.
This is the perfect book for current or recent grads and quickly being added to my favorite New Adult reads.

Loved it. All the fun and charm of P&P, with a modern cast and, frankly, a kinder approach than Austen’s. It’s self-contained, but I wouldn’t say no to a sequel about Lily and/or Tessa…
Lovely and light
A happy, gorgeously authentic book about richly written characters exploring life at the end of college. I loved the writing, the love stories, and the whole cast of characters.

A fun, thoroughly updated remake of Pride and Prejudice that feels real and approachable. The real triumph here is the the emotional tone the book, especially the ending, track very well with P&P. To remix the story's elements into a coherent and familiar yet new version is amazing enough, but to give it the same emotionality is truly outstanding. I felt the same way reading this book that I felt reading P&P, with a little bit of glee at seeing the modernization with so well mixed in.

I need to sit on the book for a while and I may come back and revise this. I really loved the characters. I loved the diversity. I love P&P. However… it felt like the book was trying to do too much. I’m not saying cut the diversity (knowing it focused on a Black woman, a trans woman, and an Asian woman is most of the reason I picked it up) but I think trying to tell their stories and stay focused on P&P left a lot to be desired. I’d love to have seen a whole story about Jamie, developing her story with Lee and her character. I’d love to see Tessa’s story and not just leave her in the background ad a foil. I adored EJ and Will, but they were the only ones who I felt like got development and I could invest in, which is true to the source material. However, with such fascinating characters and great dialogue, I’d have a loved a story (or stories) about them without feeling the need to be so tied to Jane Austen.

I was enjoying this book, but the ending really, really dragged and did not feel well wrapped up at all. Character arcs we lost as they concluded and yet the book continued on, and one of the Bennet Women i thought was going to be a main character barely had a storyline at all, really.
