I had really high hopes of this but it seems (ironically)) that the author just loves to admit how much he has helped people who have lost loved ones to murderers. He also loves to name drop and whinging about how the word count affects what he can write in a book. I love a book about murderers but it just didn’t hit the spot and annoyed me.

Blatant factual errors and salacious misogynist comments

Slowly making my way through Christopher Berry- Dee. He helped me out of a looong reading slump years ago, but now woring my way through my 'collection' is sending me back into one. Some of it is interesting, most of it is either a. poorly understood psychology b. him bragging about the killers he's met or c. the exact same recycled content from other books.

Interesting subject matter, find a different author, he's a narcissistic numpty.

Outdated and at times, offensive language used to describe victims. One sentence implies victim blaming. I won't be reading any other books by this author.

This book was disappointing which was a shame because I was really looking forward to reading it after reading previous work by the author. There were typing errors in the first few pages and the author seemed to talk more about himself than any psychopaths or savages. I didn’t manage to get past the first 50 or so pages because it was so dull and boring. I would honestly not recommend reading this book to anybody, it’s too painful.
