I'm not sure if I liked what I read. I found the "romantic" tropes kind of cringy. Not exactly sure what the plot was and the world itself was a tad bit confusing. The author introduced words and never really explained (there is a glossary in the front of the Kindle books). I enjoyed parts of the story but will I read book 2 maybe haven't decided.
Ok so.. It’s a dark fantasy novel that gave a little bit of rapunzel vibes, but only bc she is trapped in a tower and has long hair. It was very mysterious and left me with so many questions! That being said, I read through pretty quickly and I am very intrigued for the rest of the series. I don’t know who to trust, who to ship or generally what the heck is going on but i sure am excited to find out!
