I’m trying to fill the hole that Long Live Evil left in me. I did like how forgivably evil Damien is in this story, but it just didn’t scratch the same itch. Give me evil women!!!!!
Though by the end, I felt pretty satisfied with some of the morally grey choices from Amma
A good fun read, already checked out the 2nd book!
I will say the audio narrators both sounded like other popular characters … once I heard it I couldn’t unhear thatAmma sounded like Starfire from the original Teen Titans and Damien sounded like so freaking smarmy like Will Wheaton

Okay I see now why this is always said to be a super slow burn.
I wasn’t really invested in the plot but I LOVED the characters so much. Damian and Amma cracked me up and Kaz was just such a funny little side kick even if he was irritating.
I also liked how the book kind of made fun of itself and the genre a bit throughout.
This was a very lighthearted and fun read!
