I really enjoyed first book.Romance between Akio and Izumi and her relationship with her dad,but here this takes backseat because of pointless love triangle. I'm disappointed.

The characters felt less developed than the first book.
Her mom felt unrealistically uninvolved in her life, and the ending felt unresolved with all of the relationship issues. We spent the whole book with Izumi's new boyfriend who I really liked, only for her to end with the bodyguard who I don't felt redeemed himself.

nowhere near as good as the first one. my fave character was gone for most of the book. i was annoyed the majority of the time, especially during the love triangle portion. the number of times i rolled my eyes throughout this highly anticipated release was tragic.
