Sigh...

I call dibs on Saint. He's mine. Hahaahhah. Despite Rachel frustrated me sometimes, Saint saved the day. God, he makes it all better! Another book boyfriend to add onto my list.

Katy Evans, you rock! Your heroes rock!

I was waiting for the release of this book anxiously because the cliffhanger was going to kill me. I have to say that the continuation of the story was really really great.

2 stars. I am filled with such disappointment right now. Not sure how this went so wrong from the first book but it did.

Positives first, since there are very few, but I still like Evans' writing style. It's a breeze to get through and I like the way she does her dialogue. Second thing I liked loved was of course Malcom Kyle Preston Logan Saint because he is everything! Easily the best part of this story and it's been an entire year since I've read the first book but I fell right back in love with his character all over again.

Everything else didn't work for me. I still very much cannot stand Rachel. She's weird and very immature and I swear she referred to her fucking vagina as her 'sexy place' so much that it made me angry. Like, what grown ass woman talks like that?? She was insufferable to read from and I feel like this series would've benefited so much from being from both of their p.o.v's just to have a break from Rachel. On top of that she's crazy insecure. She kept pointing out all of the women he's slept with and comparing herself to them for whatever dumbass reason and I just wanted to smack her. She never really grows out of that either, she's just insecure and childish until the end. Yippee.

There were no repercussions for the ending of the last book. None. So that was a bit of a waste because I was expecting some huge blow out but nope, he offers her a job at his company and they have sex a lot. Yay.

Also, this was really, really boring to read. It was short but still it was a pain to get through because nothing of importance happens until like the last 50 or so pages.

Overall, this was a huge disappointment and I hate that such a great character like Saint was wasted like this. He deserves better, dammit!

I don't know. There was either something about this book or something about me while reading this book that I didn't like. I thought I'd be able to finish it but nope.
Maybe I'll give it a go another one but for now it's a DNF.

AARRRGGGGHHHHH! In my opinion there's only one thing worse than a cliffhanger ending... A cliffhanger when the next book isn't out yet.
