This is a banana pants book and I loved it. Loved these two hot nerds so thirsty for each other… that first part on the Rhodesia is just full of squee moments then followed up with Sherry Thomas’ trademark angst. Just so exquisitely written.

This book has a surprise pregnancy from an "infertile" lead.  Always an immediate no for me.

Beguiling the Beauty kept me hooked from the start, and my only gripe is how quickly (and ridiculously) everything was wrapped up at the end.

Pros:
- the tension
- the uniqueness of the premise/hobbies
- the amount of new tidbits I learnt
- the calling out of men who blame women for simply existing and being beautiful
- setting up for all the other relationships (sue me, I like their perspectives too)

The cons:
- how hastily it was all just wrapped up
- that ridiculous conversation with the Smith sisters, with impromptu visits from everyone

A surprisingly wonderful read. While this novel is a pure romance story there are so many twists and turns and add onto that two other relationships that are in the works this makes for a wonderful story of Love, lust, and misunderstandings.

this was such a fun historical romance & so refreshing bcz it was so different from other ones ive read. i loved it sm. Christian & Venetia are so cute. i love christian although at times his presumptuous attitude annoyed me. Venetia too was an extremely strong character
