why on earth did it take so long to jump on the Fourth Wing train!? you can tell how much Rebecca loves history and military heroes by the way this book is written. I feel like most people talk about the romance, which I loved too, but this book is so much more than that

I did NOT want to love this. I think it's the lingering ~ faux cool girl ~ in me who is afraid to fall in love with popular things, but DAMN. I loved this. Perfect slow burn, loved the disability representation, and the dragons, oh my God. I've never been so instantly attached to 2 fictional creatures before, but I quite literally cannot stop thinking about Tairn and sweet little Andarna.
