A really good read to get out of a slump, a wild fantasy with romance and enthralling, akin to Sarah J maas.

I went into this book being kind of skeptical, but boy did the ending pay off.

MC is incredibly relatable and likeable. I loved the worldbuilding and the author's writing style. This is one of those books that keep you guessing. Just when you think you have it all figured out, everything changes (but in a good way!) I CANNOT wait for the second book to come out!

This book did not disappoint! Loved all the twists and turns. You never know who exactly the shady people are and it’s awesome. Doesn’t keep ya from crushing on them either. I’m glad I’ll never be in this leading ladies shoes. Although she’s kinda awesome even if she’s a bit gullible. Great read!

I enjoyed it but it was pretty predictable and it seemed the only way that information kept being concealed was "theres a spell we cant talk about it"

This book hit me over the head with the exposition (and most of the plot tbh) but I didn’t pick it up because I was looking for an enriching read. Like
Look at the cover… Absolutely will be finishing the next one ASAP

So let’s take Cinderella (with mean stepsisters and all), but make her a really skilled thief and put her on the Bachelor to compete against 11 other human girls who are pining after the fae prince. That’s what we have going on here.

It really was a great story and I enjoyed it a lot, but it didn’t feel super original. I knew going into it that many people said it was an exact copy of ACOTAR. They’re not wrong, but I’m not entirely mad about it because I still enjoyed it.

I felt like the love triangle was really well-written and I was truly falling for both Seb and Finn. I’m really interested to find out who’s actually good and bad, but I guess I have to wait and read the second book.

Did I give this book a 3.5-star review? Yes, but did I also preorder the second book right away? Also, yes.

Why you might ask, let me explain:
