My second attempt at reading this book. It admittedly is very chunky, and filled with so much information! Every sentence reveals something else. A great read for any northerner wanting to read about where we came from, our history and heritage.

A good accompaniment to Fiona Hill's memoir [b:There Is Nothing for You Here: Finding Opportunity in the Twenty-First Century|55959530|There Is Nothing for You Here Finding Opportunity in the Twenty-First Century|Fiona Hill|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1619153870l/55959530._SY75_.jpg|87176862] of growing up and then leaving Bishop Auckland. Looking forward to the upcoming wedding that will add a Northumbrian to our family!
