Entering this Vampire Academy world has been amazing. This world is so unique. I don't care what others say. Vampires are cool. I don't even think of it as a vampire series. Vampire Academy and bloodlines are two of the best series I've ever read. It was a great finale to the best books. I can't wait for more Sydrian and Romitri. Oh and Declan. - April 6 2015

There are a lot of aspects of  this book (and series) that had me rolling my eyes, especially
the quickie marriage and immediate baby tropes
, but it was still somewhat pulse-pounding and kept me riveted to see what would happen next. I do feel like there were a lot of unanswered questions at the end (leaving room for another spin off??), but overall it wrapped up pretty well.

While I’m happy the characters ended up “happy” in the end, I was really unhappy with this ending. My ideal ending would have seen Sydney and Adrian enjoying their freedom together in Rome, where Sydney would be studying ancient art and architecture and Adrian would be practicing his art. Alas, the book instead ends with them being shackled by domesticity with a baby that came completely out of left field for pretty much no reason.

This is the perfect conclusion of this amazing series.
I will miss all these characters very much.
