I liked the relationship the main characters started forming but hated how he was so closed off that it practically almost ruined them, granted he had a reason to his sadness but you discover it at the end, so all the book until then I was just getting annoyed at him. Maybe it was that I listened to the audiobook and the way it was read in his perspective was just very exagerated and that made it a bit unbearable (only his parts)

I don’t know how to feel about this book!! It was good but I can’t get over some of the triggers in this book!!  

The fact that they are technically step siblings and the MMC calls the FMC by another woman’s name. Idk

I laughed, cried and smiled at this book. This is my first Colleen Hoover read but definitely won’t be my last! I love this book. It was so raw and genuine. Never felt so many emotions while reading this book. I loved it.

miles is a walking red flag. his pov written as a “poem” 90% of the time was so cringe and uncomfy for me to read. someone in another review commented that miles obviously loves rachel way way more than he would ever love tate (the passion/feeling with rachel was just unmatched compared to with tate) and tate is a complete doormat! 100% true and frustrating. also how are you going to make a joke about how rachel/miles baby has big balls and then IMMEDIATELY KILL THE BABY ON THE VERY NEXT PAGE it was so unbelievable that i was laughing in shock. this is my fourth or fifth colleen hoover book and every single character has been wildly toxic and unbearable. might be my last one — but at the same time, i love to hate it 🤷🏼‍♀️

ok i HATED the first half. ironically started getting into the story halfway through (u know when u watch a bad tv show just bc it’s bad *cough* r*v*rdale). the end made me cry but i think i just got too invested in the characters. 

like a great idea, poor execution.
